 Anup is currently a Felix and Gregory Kulkes scholar reading for the D.Phil in Law at Balliol College. He has an under-graduate degree in law from the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), University of Law, Hyderabad and has completed the BCL and the M.Phil in Law since coming to Oxford in 2007. Anup researches on affirmative action policies for Scheduled Castes and Muslims in India.
During his tenure as President of the OIS, Anup will seek to bring about financial reform by creating a significant corpus of funds, make a concentrated attempt at diversifying the activities of the OIS and also strenghten the position of the Indian Institute Library in Oxford.
Like many of his malayali brethren, Anup also left Kerala -- but made it only as far as Bangalore... |
