Private Policy
OIS respects the privacy of its members and guests. Whether online or on paper, we collect only the information that is required to deliver the services that you want to sign up. We do not require visitors to supply any personal information to access our public content pages. Like most sites, we log all page hits, including visitors’ IP addresses, but this is used only for aggregate statistics, tracing bugs and reporting suspected abuse to the appropriate University/legal authorities. From time to time, we may develop web pages that ask for your name, email address or other personal information in order to deliver services to you at a future time. In such cases, we will always disclose how we plan to use your information. Under no circumstances shall we reveal this information to any third parties, except on notification to the Proctors' Office.
